Carine completed her PhD in intercultural communication and simulation from the University of Geneva, Switzerland. She has over ten years of experience working with simulated/standardized patients (SPs) in medical education and other health professional education. Carine is the director of the Unit of Educational Innovation with responsibility for simulation based-education. Her research projects focus on SP methodology for interprofessional education and feedback. She is a member of committees of the Association of Standardised Patient Educators (ASPE) and she is part of the board of the new Swiss Association for Simulation in Healthcare (SASH).
